At Journey Home Community, we believe volunteers are an integral part of achieving our organizational mission and vision. As such, we invite volunteers to participate in all areas of the organization. Volunteers come alongside families to provide resettlement support and relational care, assist with administration and support for community events, and assist us in fundraising and development activities. That means we have a diversity of volunteer support roles.
Goals of our volunteer program at Journey Home Community:
- Volunteers will receive support & training from JHC.
- Volunteers and paid staff share the same mission, values and goals.
- Volunteers will benefit through the work they do.
- Volunteers will be recognized for their contributions.
Are you looking for a place to share your gifts and develop your skills? Are you hoping to volunteer within a community environment where you will give as well as receive?
