Throughout December, we’re offering a variety of opportunities for you to get involved, connect with our community, and support refugee claimants in meaningful ways. As our community continues to grow, we’re creating spaces where people can participate thoughtfully and practically.

Pancake Breakfast | December 20, 2025
We’re excited to gather as a community with the program participants we’ve walked alongside this past year to share a joyful Christmas celebration. We’ll provide a delicious pancake breakfast with festive activities like a photo booth, raffle, and crafts. Parents from Journey Home's program will also visit our Gift Market to select presents for their families, which will be delivered on Christmas Eve. A variety of volunteer shifts are available, and before or after your shift, you’re invited to join in the feasting and fun!

Deliver Gifts | December 24, 2025
On Christmas Eve, Journey Home Community shares the love of the season by delivering gifts to refugee families in our programs. These gifts are chosen by parents at our Christmas Gift Market during the Pancake Breakfast, where families select presents donated by partner churches. You’re invited to help bring these packages to families across the community. Volunteers receive a short delivery route, clear instructions, and gifts ready to go. It’s a meaningful way to share Christmas kindness and bring warmth and joy into their homes.
