Party in the Park – Celebrating 20 Years of Journey Home Community

This summer, we’re marking a big milestone—20 years of Journey Home Community—and you’re invited to help us celebrate!

Join us for a fun Party in the Park on

📍 Wesburn Park, Burnaby

This special event is a chance to gather with friends, supporters, volunteers, and families—everyone who makes up the Journey Home community. We’ll celebrate the friendships we’ve built and the welcome we continue to extend to refugee claimants.

🎉 What to Expect

• Live entertainment throughout the day

• Games and activities for all ages

• Space to connect, relax, and play

• A community potluck meal

🍽 What to Bring

• A main dish, salad, or dessert to share (potluck style!)

• A blanket or camp chair

• Sunscreen and a hat

• Optional: soccer ball, frisbee, or lawn games
